Transferring tickets on Broadway Direct is easy! Just follow the steps below:
- In order to transfer tickets, you will need to have a Broadway Direct account associated with the email address used to purchase the tickets. You can create one here if you don't yet have one. After logging into your account, all of your tickets will be in the “Tickets” tab.
- After clicking “Transfer Tickets” the tab will bring up a window, allowing you to select which of the tickets you'd like to transfer; checking “Select All” will transfer all of them.

You will then input information about the recipient you're transferring your tickets to. The recipient does not need a Broadway Direct account in order to receive transferred tickets, though it is recommended! At least one ticket must be selected and the terms and conditions agreement must be checked in order for the “Initiate Transfer” button to become active. Please double check the recipient's email address: if the tickets get sent to the wrong person and they accept, we aren't able to transfer the tickets back to you!
- The recipient will then receive an email with the option to accept the tickets. Clicking that button will redirect them to Broadway Direct, where they will need to check the box confirming acceptance of terms and conditions in order to activate the “Accept your tickets” button.
- Once they’ve accepted, they’ll have the opportunity to make an account or log into one if they already have one. In order for these transferred tickets to show up in their account, it will need to be associated with the email address to which these tickets were sent.
